Lahore has once again proved with power of vote that Nawaz Sharif is premier of people's heart
LAHORE (Dunya News) – PML-N senior leader Khawaja Saad Rafique has said that today is the day of the N league’s victory and the people from Lahore rejected vote theft.
After the unofficial preliminary results of the Cantonment Board, Khawaja Saad Rafique in his address to the workers said that today is the day of victory of PML-N. “The conscious people of the cantonment have given victory to PML-N by rejecting the trade of buying and selling votes. The PML-N has won nine seats in Walton Cantonment.”
The PML-N leader also held PTI accused of holding staff hostage at a polling station. “ The cantonment election is a ‘limit test’. People are tired of this government,” he added.
“Today, Lahore has once again proved with the power of vote that Nawaz Sharif is the prime minister of the hearts of the people. The vote rigging could not get Nawaz Sharif, Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N out of the hearts of the people.”
“In 2015, we had won nine out of 10 seats, this year we have done a clean sweep. The results of three polling stations near Bhatta Chowk were not given but they could not break the security fence of PML-N lions. The PTI candidate attacked our candidate. Another polling station staff was held hostage by PTI for three hours,” Khawaja Saad maintained.
"Our voices cannot be silenced by state repression," he mentioned. Arrest the government thugs who took the polling staff hostage and bring them to justice. We will not allow anyone to stage an Azad Kashmir or Sialkot drama in Lahore.”
